Fresh & colorful, each one of Josh Ellingson’s illustrations have a story to tell! The illustrator lives and creates in San Francisco and has worked with numerous clients.

As he notes: “I’m influenced by popular culture, particularly television and movies, and I’ve also always been a fan of comic books and collectible toys. I’m enamored with science and scientific advancements and lately, astronomy has had a big impact on my work. There’s something about the scale of the cosmic level that makes my brain buzz.”

Seeing the artwork of photorealist Glennray Tutor is difficult to believe that it is oil on canvas. The details in colors, forms and lighting are simply oustanding! His themes are so attractive to the eye: depicting still life inspired by various toys such as marbles, cars, comics and candy, all waking up memories from the joyful period of childhood.

Tetsuya Ishida was unfortunately hit by a train and died at the age of 31, leaving behind approximately 180 artworks he had created during the last 10 years of his art career.

The characters in his paintings are often depicted sad and despaired with their bodies captured in some machine or other object and it is said that the artist attempted to depict the dark side of Japanese life through his surreal visions.

Secret Paradise

Mark Ryden’s work is simply phenomenal. A secret paradise where weird little characters with a fascination for the obscure and freaky reside. Seemingly innocent children are depicted in the most contradicting manner along with often vicious symbols or strange sights of the natural world.

Ryden’s work is most certainly striking. There is so much going on in his pieces that one can stare for hours and still discover hidden detailed aspects. A masterful work that has gained recognition in the modern art arena.

Italian painter Vincenzo Rizzo creates portraits filled with bold power! His mixed media collection is a series of expressive portraits where color and texture combined with fantastic, almost liquid drawings and a vivid imagination, give you the impression that they’ve literally captured a woman’s soul!

The artist has finished his Fine Art studies and is specialized in visual arts. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and keeps experimenting with various techniques.

A new entry in my top fav list!
